Onkyo CS-445 CD Receiver System

The CS-445 offers a carefully considered balance of performance, price, and practicality. Thanks to its compact size,this versatile audio mini system can be set up virtually anywhere in the home. Driving the system is a combined CD-receiver that handles regular CDs as well as recordable CDs encoded with compressed audio files. Playback options are further expanded by a built-in iPhone/iPod dock that lets you hook up and recharge your device. Naturally, given Onkyo's enviable track record in home audio, the processing and amplification circuitry are second to none. Completing the system are two precision-crafted bookshelf speakers featuring Onkyo's proprietary OMF diaphragms.

Included 2-Way Speakers

The CS-445 comes with a pair of D-035 2-way speakers. The speakers feature a 1" balanced dome tweeter and a 4" OMF (Onkyo Micro Fiber) woofer, loaded into a bass reflex enclosure. The included black cloth grilles are detachable. The speakers have spring clip terminals, and come with two 6' lengths of speaker wire.

Four Programmable Timers

The CS-445 offers four programmable timers for automated playback, as well as a sleep timer for turning the unit off after a specified length of time. The unit can be programmed to turn on and turn off at specific times. Each timer can be programmed for a single alarm, a daily alarm, or alarms for multiple days. The sleep timer can be set in 10-minute increments between 10 and 90 minutes with the included remote's Sleep button, and adjusted in 1-minute increments from 1 to 99 minutes using the Arrow buttons on the CS-445 itself.
